Welcome to the presentation of German environmental technologies at the IE expo presented by IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS - International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and Energy Conversation, held in Shanghai at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

MMI and Shanghai ZM International Exhibition Co., Ltd., co-founded MMI-ZM Trade Fairs (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a joint venture, to operate IE expo 2012. IE expo will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from March 7 to 9, 2012. IE expo now merges IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS, becoming the largest and most important environmental trade show for water, sewage, refuse, recycling and energy conservation in China. The entire spectrum of environmental products, solutions and services is presented at the event, complemented by a top-level technical-scientific conference program.

In 2011, IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS attracted a total of 752 exhibitors from 25 countries and over 22,000 visitors from 75 countries.

IE expo takes place in halls N2 to N5. The German Pavilion is located in hall N3. In total 20 German exhibitors will present their products to the Chinese market.


The participants have a strong and sustained interest in the very promising Chinese environmental protection market and in a long-term business co-operation with Chinese public and private companies of environmental related sectors.

The German exhibitors offer state-of-the-art practical solutions in all fields of water and sewage, refuse disposal and recycling, environment engineering and environment- friendly energy. Some of the participants have already made contact to Chinese partners, some are "freshmen".

Admission for trade visitors is free of charge upon registration
The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the DWA - German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste invite you to visit the official German participation at the IE expo 2012 in order to establish or intensify contacts with German companies.
